Remote Work Café is your go-to guide for finding cafés where you can comfortably work with your laptop.
We're a remote-first team at
LOGIC. On any given day, you'll find us working from our homes, our office or our favorite café. But let’s be honest: finding the right café for remote work is harder than it should be.
The problem we faced (and you probably have too)
Sure, there are plenty of cafés around. But that doesn't mean they’re remote-work friendly. You might find a place that looks perfect only to realize:
- The Wi-Fi crawls
- The music is too loud
- There are no power outlets
- It closes right after you get your coffee
- It's not accessible
How we pick great cafés for remote work
We created Remote Work Café as a curated platform, built by remote workers, for remote workers. Every café listed is a place someone has personally worked from and loved. These aren't sponsored or AI-generated. They're handpicked based on actual remote working experience.
We look for the little things that make a big difference:
1. Reliable, fast Wi-Fi
No one wants to get dropped from a call or wait forever for files to upload.
Solid, consistent Wi-Fi is a non-negotiable.
2. Good lighting (natural is a plus)
A well-lit space keeps our energy up and our video calls looking sharp.
Natural light? Even better for mood and focus.
3. Comfortable seating & outdoor space
If you're going to be working for hours, comfort matters. Bonus points if there’s enough room to spread out your laptop, notebook and
sit outside to work.
4. Quiet environment
A bit of background hum is great. A blender going off every 30 seconds? Not so much. We look for spaces where you can think or take a call without shouting.
5. Power outlets
Low battery anxiety is real. The best spots have outlets within reach, so you’re not stuck hugging a wall.
6. Accessibility for all kinds of users
Great workspaces are
inclusive. We keep an eye out for step-free access, spacious layouts and bathrooms everyone can use.
7. Meal & snack options
If you're planning to stay a while,
good food matters. We love cafés that serve tasty meals, snacks or at least solid coffee and pastries to fuel your focus.
Last but not least
After we receive a coffee shop suggestion, we review it to ensure the location and opening hours are accurate and up to date.
